Anne with an E
Unlike learning science, when we seek an explanation, we firmly believe there must be explanations, depicting the reason why a piece of literature or movie is appealing to me is rather difficult. Even though there exists analysis accounting for the virtue of a literature or movie, I don’t think the reasons why I liked the movie are included. Is this from personal psychological or what?
I doubt whether the analysis is enough fair and stand on a solid foundation.
My standard for a good literature or movie is ambiguous,
-
It tells a good story. What is a good story?
hang hanging fruits
- It give me fresh insight and make me think from a new perspective
- I feel can’t agree anymore with a point it implied.
There is an inheritance with my recognition, I think the later choice I made is affected by the previous experience.
- Why do I like some type of comics? Am I long for something and their work illustrate what I wanted? then map it into reality.
- Why do I like epic saga?
- Why am I unaware of the importance of social activity?
I will describe the reflection on Anne with an E.
It’s a story of an orphan named Anne adopted by brother and sister Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert. It was based on the book of Anne of Green Gables.
In this world, some lives are treated unfairly and badly, but when good people by nature treated them respectively, things changed dramatically, these lives finally turn into very admirable people.
The most significant part for me is there are 3 gay characters, whether so progressive, is this for keeping a right political attitude, or what? compare to the original book, this has modified too much.
Different isn’t bad, it’s just not the same.
